The good lord knows I do not need any more makeup. I already have a large box of brand new makeup I have not been able to use due to a hectic work schedule but here we are with another haul! Ulta had yet another 20% off all products sale this past week, and I, of course, could not pass this up.
The first few things I picked up are from the brand Makeup Revolution. As I have mentioned before, Makeup Revolution has quickly become one of my favorite brands. I fell in love with their SophX highlighter palette and their conceal and define foundation. This SophX Makeup Revolution Extra Spice Eyeshadow Palette screams fall and I cannot wait to use it. I will definitely post a review and look using this palette within the next couple of weeks.
I also purchased the Makeup Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray, a SophX lipstick in the shade Syrup, and a Conceal and Define Concealer in the super size. I have not tried their lipsticks or the spray before but I have used and loved their concealer. I am so glad they have it available in a larger size now!
I have heard so many great things about the Dermalogica PreCleanse Balm but never picked it up because it is a bit expensive. I took advantage of the sale and bought the smaller size that comes with a cleansing mitt.
The Wet N’ Wild PhotoFocus Foundation was released a couple years ago and shook the drugstore makeup world. Unfortunately, I have never been able to try it due to a poor shade range. I randomly saw on Ulta’s website they had darker shades that were available exclusively online. I still think there should be darker shades in stores, nonetheless, I am still excited to finally try it. I bought two different shades just in case one or the other is too light/dark.
I bought four different NYX Suede lip liners in the shades Sandstorm, Cape Town, Maison, and Kitten Heels. These liners are so bomb! The last two items I picked up are from Ulta’s brand. I have never used their brand before and was curious to see how they performed. I picked up their powder foundation and a mattifying balm.
