I hate to do back to back foundation reviews so this one will be quick but I HAD to make a post about this foundation.
Casey Holmes on YouTube posted a wear test and review on this foundation a couple of weeks ago. She loved the foundation which instantly made me want to try it because her and I have the same skin type. I purchased this foundation online at Ulta for $12. It comes in 24 shades (I am in the shade 12.5) and is advertised as full coverage with a demi matte finish.
I have worn this foundation for the past few days at work and I LOVE IT. When I tell you this baby is SO FULL COVERAGE! A little product goes a long way. The ONLY drawback about this foundation is the packaging. I am not a huge fan of a doe-foot applicator for foundation for hygienic purposes but I can live with it. I apply it with the applicator and then blend it in with a flat top foundation brush (similar to a Sigma F80). The demi matte finish is definitely what I look for in a fall/winter foundation because it keeps me from looking both too oily or too dry. Throughout my 12 hour day I blotted my face one time and the foundation looked good as new again. I got so many compliments on how good my skin looked with this product on. I noticed at the end of the day there was very minimal creasing around my laugh lines and my t zone did not look crazy textured like it has in the past with other foundations.
FINAL THOUGHTS: You need this foundation in your life girl! This comes neck and neck with the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation. I love how full coverage and smooth this product is and for $12 bucks, you can’t beat it! I will definitely be using this product for the colder months and then make the transition back to the NYX foundation when it gets warmer because it is more matte. Head over to Ulta NOW! 😉
